Q: What is the estimated drying time?
A: The cleaning will leave your carpets or upholstery damp and they will dry naturally during the course of the day.

Q. When I have my upholstery cleaned, how long do I have to leave my cushions propped?
A. Cushions are left propped in order to aid the drying process and should be left in place until completely dry.

Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes, we have public liability cover.

Q: How many times a year should I have my carpets cleaned?
A: Cleaning frequency depends on a number of things such as the number of occupants in the household, pets, smokers and children. On average you should clean your carpets every six months.

Q: Can you remove wine, tea, coffee etc…
A: Some stains can be permanent and therefore we can’t make any promises that we can remove them. We usually get better results if we attempt to remove the stain before anyone else tries.

Q. Can you guarantee to remove stains?
A. This is something we cannot guarantee. Due to the amount of variables e.g. nature of the stain, type of carpet, age of the stain, if you've tried treating it yourself etc, no professional carpet cleaner can ever give you an absolute guarantee on stains.

Q. Why do you charge extra for wool carpets?
A. Because wool is a natural fibre we need to rinse it thoroughly at the end of each job, which takes more time than if we're cleaning a synthetic carpet. Also, the chemicals used in treating wool are more expensive than their synthetic counterparts

Q: Can pet odours and urine be removed?
A:The deodoriser in our cleaning solution will deal with most pet odours. We use professional spotters specifically designed for the removal of urine.

Q: Can steam cleaning damage my carpet?
A: No. Hot water extraction is considered to be the best method for removing embedded soil and other contaminants. It is also the preferred cleaning method by the leading carpet manufacturers.

Q. How long will my carpets take to dry?
A. It will depend on several factors: the amount of soiling within the carpet, the length of the pile and the temperature both inside and outside the property. One of our staffs’ key skills is their ability to clean carpets thoroughly, leaving the carpets as dry as possible. Our modern, efficient machines remove large amounts of moisture, so your carpets should dry rapidly. You’ll be able to use them soon after we leave.

Q. Do I have to hoover before you arrive?
A. We’d recommend that you give your carpets a quick vacuum the day before, especially if there is a lot of dust, fluff or larger particles on your carpets, as this may block the filters in our machines.

Q. How do you take payment?
A. We can take credit and debit card payments or cash on the day. Please note that unless previously agreed, payment must be made on the day.

Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. If cancelling with less then 24 hours notice we do reserve the right to charge full price.

Q. Do you move the furniture?
A. We can move certain items of furniture, but are limited due to health and safety legislation. As such, if you have any items of furniture that you definitely need to be moved, it is best to do this prior to our arrival e.g. wardrobes and double beds. If you are moving furniture, we do recommend allowing 24 hours before moving them back onto the carpets, we cannot take any responsibility for any damage if we need to move something.

Q. What should I do before you arrive?
A. It would be very helpful if prior to arrival you can remove items on the floor from areas to be cleaned e.g. shoes, toys etc. Also, if you have valuable items on any pieces of furniture that will require moving, could you please move these to a safe location. Because of the weight limit to what can be moved by our carpet cleaners, please move any heavy items.

Q. I live in a flat without a lift, is that a problem?
A. All professional carpet cleaning machines are very big and very heavy, so getting them up staircases can be problematic. Normally, getting them up one flight of stairs (12/13 steps) is fine, but any more than that we might not be able to complete the job, so please do let us know in advance.
